Join us tonight, April 18th!

An Invitation…

Join us in watching a film tonight, April 18th at 9 pm (EST) about a great explorer and pioneer of the outdoors, John Muir in the New World. For viewers in the United States, check your local Public Broadcasting Station for specific information. It will feature some of the gorgeous landscapes in North America. We’ll be watching with you and tweeting about the film. Follow us @CampWestminster. It is a virtual taste of what our campers will experience this summer when they visit Isle Royale, South Manitou, Tahquamenon Falls, and Pictured Rocks. Please join us!

Update: An interview with the filmmaker and outtakes are available on the PBS website: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/americanmasters/category/video/web-exclusives/ The full documentary can be watched on the PBS American Masters website at: http://video.pbs.org/video/1883108297

Muir’s reaction to nature- to see the “glory of the Lord in this place” – is not unlike what I feel each time I arrive at Camp Westminster, to serve in that awesome place!
