Camp Westminster on Higgins Lake has partnered with the Northern Michigan Faith Communities Coalition for a fun-filled, action-packed, self-esteem-promoting, faith-nurturing, memory-making camp in the community of Camp Westminster on beautiful crystal-clear, sandy-bottomed Higgins Lake! Campers will enjoy campfires, s’mores, canoeing, kayaking, high ropes, rock climbing, fishing, arts & crafts, nature walks, night hikes, silly songs, wacky games and of course swimming in Higgins Lake! This summer camp program is open to all foster children and members of their current family, and children who have recently been adopted from the foster care system.

This session provides children in foster care and their siblings the chance to experience God’s love in a loving community. Camp Westminster’s skilled team of staff ensure that every child receives the love and care that they deserve. Campers learn to live in community with others, to share, take responsibility, and challenge themselves to experience new activities. Together with the Northern Michigan Faith Communities Coalition, we aim to connect with and provide a powerful experience for some of Michigan’s 13,000 foster children.

Register online or download and send us the All Things New Registration Form pdf.

The fee for this session is $125 for one camper OR $200 per family with multiple children. Scholarship assistance is available. Click to download the Campership Application pdf.
