Camp Westminster has been chosen again... for Summer Dreams 2010!
What is Summer Dreams?
Each spring, the Detroit Free Press Charities administers a campaign called "Summer Dreams" to help summer camp programs. All matching money is provided by the Skillman Foundation. They choose to support programs that serve the children and youth of southeastern Michigan, with a specific focus on Detroit. Camp Westminster has been chosen for 10 years in a row now!
How does it work?
These 2 foundations match dollar for dollar every single donation made to Camp Westminster. It doubles the money! Just write a check directly to "Children First" and put "Camp Westminster" in the memo. (NOTE: If you make your check out directly to Camp Westminster, the money will not be matched!)

We will submit it to the appropriate place to receive the credit.
What does CW intend to use this money for in 2010?
Our goal this year is $43,000 which will be used for camperships and other needed program items. We also plan to continue work on the Adventure Village.
When should I donate?
Now! The matching money is only available for a limited time- usually for about 6 weeks, beginning May 1! So, send in your check now to help CW out!
