Calling all makers!!!! The Arts & Crafts Camp is getting ready for its 5th year at Camp Westminster on Higgins Lake!  (Sorry kids.  This one is for grown-ups only.)

A Message from our Art Camp Leader:

​

The Fifth Annual Adult Arts and Crafts weekend will be held this year on Thursday May 22nd 5:00PM until Sunday May 25th at 1:00PM. Please mark your calendar and save the date.

This year we have some fun new projects to work on including: Fabric Boro box, fabric book, multiple techniques to use with fabrics and paints  rubber stamps stencils and hand sewing to put in shadow boxes, or in a fabric book, Process Painting introductory class, which is combination of creativity, self growth and connecting with your intuition. We’ll have pictures of the projects up on the website at the end of March. 

We’ll have some oldie but goodie classes also making quilt blocks, to make a quilt to donate to the COTS (a local non-profit that supports families to overcome homelessness and  to break the poverty cycle). And hopefully we can finish up the mural on the tennis courts this spring before the 100 year reunion in July.  We are lucky to have Nancy and Sue cooking for us again so you know the food will be great. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and having another great weekend up at Camp Westminster.

 

What to Expect:

• Plan to arrive Thursday evening ready to get crafting!

• All meals are provided starting with Friday breakfast through lunch on Sunday.

• Please bring a sleeping bag, toiletries, and a towel.

• Your fee covers lodging, meals, and all craft materials.
