You’re invited to a fun-filled, confidence-building, faith-nurturing summer at Camp Westminster on Higgins Lake! Owned and operated by Westminster Church of Detroit, Camp Westminster has served as a beautiful space for God’s ministry since 1925. One and two-week camp sessions for children and youth ages 7-17 available June-August. Parents and grandparents welcome too at Family Mission Camp and Family Camp! Spend valuable time with your family this summer during Family Mission Camp, June 29-July 2, and/or Family Camp, July 2-5, at Camp Westminster on Higgins Lake. Leave the planning and cooking up to us so you and your family can serve together and enjoy swimming, fishing, hiking, relaxing by the lake and joining in Bible studies. Mission projects include packaging meals with Kids Against Hunger, assembling emergency kits for families affected by natural disasters and completing age-appropriate service projects around camp. Studies have shown that a week (or better yet, two!) of camp is beneficial to any child’s growth. Time outside, away from the regular routine of life, in a loving community, with opportunities to grow emotionally, spiritually and socially is a wonderful gift for any child!
