Sugar Cane & Corn on the Camp Green: Environmental Stewardship, Part 2

Once a week, we gather on the Camp Green (the area between Frehse Hall and the Jamieson Health Center) for a cookout, the perfect outdoor setting with large picnic tables for this event. As we continue to make environmental stewardship a priority, it is important to us to use biodegradable products. Our supplier is a local Michigan company, Bgreen Today, that sells products for homes, offices, and organizations like us. Our cups and cutlery are made from corn starch. Our plates, bowls, and toilet paper are made from sugar cane material. All of these materials are tree-free and renewable resources. Plus, we are most pleased that all these products are compostable and biodegradable. Activity: Check out the Earth Day Activities and enjoy!
