Summer at Camp Westminster

Summer 2025

2025 Summer Schedule Updated for Day Camp (1).jpg

Day camp

Enjoy all that camp has to offer in our day program.  This program is open for all Roscommon/Higgins Lake area residents.  Our first session is dedicated to our day camp program in partnership with Roscommon Public Schools.  Day camp is also available for Sessions 2, 3, 5, and 6.

True Colors

This week we celebrate our LGBTQIA+ campers and all of those with deep connections to this community. With a dedicated program focused on the love and acceptance we are called to share with others, this unique session to support the full diversity of God's creation.

Just Camp

One of the things that has made CW successful for a century is it's program and skill development. Campers will learn basic outdoor living skills, develop an appreciation of nature, and enjoy our greatest gift, the lake, with boating and swimming opportunities.

Juniors: For our first time/youngest campers: 2nd-5th grade

Girls: As requested by our campers, this week is for girls only in 6th-8th grade.

Two Week: When one week just isn't enough, we offer a two week program that is instrumental in supporting skill development and a deep community connection. 2nd-11th grade

Family Camp

Bring the whole family for a week of fun in the sun. Meet new friends, splash in the lake, and tryout new activities. Family camp is an amazing opportunity for families to slow down, unplug, and make memories together.  We run at a slow pace where you can participate in as much or as little as you like.  Our CW staff are there to lead activities, provide opportunities for parents to have a quiet moment, and lead songs that will stick with you all year.

Leadership
Development

Camp Westminster's Leadership Development Training program has given youth invaluable skills for the future. This summer we are relaunching our LD program for 11th and 12th grade students. If you desire life challenge, growth in your faith, responsibility and hard work, this is for you.

Sailing

Imagine gliding across the crystal clear waters of Higgins Lake with your first mate. Whether you are new to sailing or ready to captain your own boat, this is for you!  Campers in grades 6th-12th, will spend mornings participating in all of our traditional programing before spending the afternoons with our experienced and certified instructors for an intense week of instruction and experience on the lake.

Unplugged Peninsula
trip

With a base camp in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, we will be hiking and biking our way through Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls and Lake Kitch-iti-kipi. This trip camp requires no specific outdoor living skills, just a sense of adventure.  Our experienced staff will lead this expedition to some of Michigan's most beautiful locations while providing campers the opportunity to put newly learned skills to use.

100th Anniversary

Join us for our centennial celebration. Our commitment to tradition, Christian community, and the love of God's creation lives on!  We welcome and encourage you to spend time at camp with us to help mark this special anniversary.
